ABOUT
NATACHA DUARTE is a multi-disciplinary design, illustration and surface print, pattern design studio based in Lisbon. Since 2011, its founder Natacha Duarte as been working in Lisbon as a freelance print /pattern designer for fashion and home and also as a woman accessories designer. Some of her clients are Reebok, ZARA, Mango, ASOS, Sisley, River Island and Ananda Pascual . Before she used to work in ZARA woman accessories department as a print, Pattern and accessories designer.
“Illustration and fashion have always been my favorite things to do since little. With time I’ve learned that the best way of combining it together was thru Pattern and print design, they can bring any piece of clothing or surface alive.”
THE BRAND
NATACHADUARTE Lisbon began as a dream to create handmade and beautiful fashion accessories, garments and home ware with bold prints and with an ecological and fair trade conscience.
“It has been a while since I felt the need of embracing a different and better way of designing and creating fashion. I think it was since my first trip to India, were I felt in love for the country and the people, when I came aware of this need. I had to change something, to participate in a greater adventure and try to do things different. I’ve learned about eco fashion and fair trade and I knew I had to work in this direction. It’s so fulfilling to help others by giving them a fair price for their work and at the same time keep doing what you love the most.“
